Cassadee: The end!
The Bill And Trav’s Bogus Journey Tour ended last night in Buffalo, NY. Let me tell you…. The pranks were coming out of the wood works. During our set, Travis got a hold of a house mic and was saying some ridiculous stuff into our monitors. The people in the crowd couldn’t really hear him so it was pretty funny. We the Kings also filled our water bottles with gin. Jersey was the only one who drank it. Then, my favorite part, during the last chorus of “How You Love Me Now,” Travis and a few guys from the WTK crew came on stage and started taking Elliots drumset away, piece by piece. It was amazing. Hahahaha.
We got them back by covering the inside of their bus with Maxipads, balloons, and a few water balloons on the floor. They thought it was a good clean prank. We figured, “Hey! They and The Academy Is brought us out. Let’s not be too brutal.” The Academy Is turned our van into a pimpmobile for reals. It looks so sick. They painted on green racing stripes, spray painted our wheels silver, and drew a bunch of nonsense on our trailer. We haven’t washed it off yet, but it’ll come off easily.
During the last song of Academy’s set, we all came on stage with streamers and threw them out in the crowd, Travis wrapped Siski like a mummy and Elliot and I got Butcher. A great last show of an amazing tour with amazing bands. We are so honored to have been on our first national tour with The Academy Is, We The Kings, and Carolina Liar.
Thanks so much to everyone who came out, who bought our cd on October 7th when it came out or will buy it, everyone we met and hung out with at the shows, and to all the kids who are passionate about music in general. Traveling and playing music in a different city every night with incredible bands is the life. We’re excited for the December dates with All Time Low, the Florida dates with There For Tomorrow, and the overseas adventure with Fall Out Boy! We love you all. Stay awesome
