Fireworks and etc
Let’s wrap this up simply and quickly. PS - There’s a twist at the end..
The tour is going awesome and thank you in advance to everyone coming out and supporting us and all the other bands, we’re having a blast. We got to the first show in North Carolina Wednesday and did the usual, load in, hang out, eat, play. When we got off stage from our set we made our way to the van and trailer only to find it covered from top to bottom in silly string with a love note on the window saying “WELCOME TO TOUR LOVE WE THE KINGS”. Well needless to say we were impressed but we had no idea band wars were going to start this early in the game. Cassadee made her way onto the kings bus to chill and act normal and not draw any attention while the rest of us got in position for the planting of the smoke bomb (No we don’t carry smoke bombs on us all the time, we just happened to go to a cheap fireworks shack in New Mexico). Jersey rolled the device under the bus and the whole parking lot began to smoke up from under the bus. Jamie walked onto the kings bus and asked if anyone knew that the bus was smoking and was probably on fire (Shout out to Jamie, Thanks a ton man!). The kings all began to sweep off the bus as quick as their legs could carry them, grabbing important things like guitars and laptops on the way. Once they got outside to see everybody coughing and running away from the bus Jersey through a cracker by the them and we proceeded to clap and say “WELCOME TO TOUR WE THE KINGS!”. Lesson in fireworks kids, they are dangerous and should only be used by professionals. Like us.
So now for the twist. It came to our attention through word of mouth last night that the Kings guitar tech and Butcher from The Academy Is were the ones responsible for the silly string. This opens a whole new can of worms. Now the kings are against us and we have to still get back Academy for their dirty work. More on this soon.
